Merry Xmas & Happy Boxing Day

Yearly, we receive well wishes sms & cards from friends and relatives for festive seasons. This is also an opportunity to get in touch with friends that we seldom meet. It is also, personally, heart-breaking not to receive birthday greetings from people who call themselves your close friends.

I do treasure long time friendship, even though differences and distance keeps us apart. It is never easy to keep in close contact with any1 for people like my spieces. There is never a time that I will initiate a conversation, cuz I have no idea what to talk about BUT anime & comics! haha...never the less, there is 1 special friend that will despite all the ruthless & heartless sarcasim splattered on him, he ALWAYS calls & scream "YO brother, where are you now?"

It brings tears to my eyes thinking what had I done in my previous life to deserve such a persistantly warm-hearted friend? On the other hand, some of your bestest buddy had failed to remember to send a xmas greeting in mist of their busy schedules. It makes you question the word 'friend' - are they just for their free time convenience or to use you to their advantage?

We meet only meet a few times yearly, we do not chat on phone nor on msn. On rare occassions, a msg popped out to ask 'how are you?' then disappear. Then reappear 2mths later to ask the same qn and disappear. Then reappear after donkey-days to ask for favour from the love ones around you and then disappear again. Its in my blood to be used by friends but I will not close an eye to those who do not appreciate the people I love.

Respect is ought to be given for people who rendered their help to you. I am not exactly a high EQ person but I do put in effort to make sure the friendship worked out. It hurts to be called a close friend and yet be put down by the exact phrase.

All these aside, Takamitsu (タカ さん) remembered his yearly message & sent me a greeting! The last time I heard, he was in HKG to set up new FANCL office, and now the Thailand branch. He's really busy & yet manages to sent a msg EVERYTIME this year. Maybe i should find some time to catch up with this friend that I almost went back Japan with!! Hubby claims I've given him 'green hat' to wear. No worries dear, I do not like 大男人cuz I am a大女人!
