恋空
Do you like to look at the clear blue sky?
恋空 / 'lian kong' the means to be in love with the sky. This is also the name of a book I purchased earlier. 'Koizora' came about when the central character Mika lost the love of her life to cancer. She was stopped by two birds as she was about to join her deceased bf and baby. Following the birds that flew into the sky, she tot she saw her bf and bb waving...thus she ended the story with a strong attachment with the sky...
Lookin at the sky is a new hobby I just picked up. It has been a hectic one month with plenty of emails, phone calls and early morning routines to follow thru. Every corner I turn, I see people, I feel the busy-ness that capitalism created.
One sunny morning, while waiting to take some shots of our dear TBCC Nasi Lemak stall, I took a long yawn er...i mean a draw in a deep breath and looked up into the sky. It was an amazing feeling - relieved, relaxed, revived and re-youthed! I was sucked into the tranquility the clear sky had emitted. Before long, I realised that many passerbys were looking at me in stunness and thinking why am I so engrossed with THE sky that has always been there.
The picture above was taken last sat at ECP when I was organising my event there. One excited mummy drew my attention to this sight. Stressed as I was then, the tranquility quickly won me over...peace sunk in. I really thanked the skys for clearing up my headache and giving me the clear weather.
