Finally took the plunge and went to work on the 1st of June. I was there early, but an earlier being was there - some guy was perfecting his bball shots.

The whole waiting game lasted until 0930 & I waited in this poor dusty 'storerm' - rm of my direct boss. Apparently, he doesnt come to use the office as often. The lizards there aint used to seeing human - they found me interesting & came out to greet me, with their shit. No, it dint land on me, just on the other side of the table.

Job scope has not been assigned to me, as my boss is not ard to brief me...but i came to realise something - ACM is such a common designation in my work area tat 5/9 of the workers there are ACM. A stab in the wound! Whats more, I came in earlier than a male colleague but his particulars, email & account has already been set up. It added salt to the wound!

Anyway, currently the work place is crowded with people, we do not have a place for me & the new colleagues that are coming in on monday. They did clear a table for me to sit in just b4 i left for home, but i have a strong feeling that cubicle will not be for me. On another hand, I also strongly believe that I have the responsibility at the front desk after the NUS part- timer leaves. By then, I will be a freakingly high paid receptionist plus too high a position to be sitting there leh.

My senior did say something like my role is very unique as I will be assisting the head of the west coast grp division, which is different from the rest. I have to go meeting with the heads of the '青根' Thus, I will not be given as many projects as the other ACMs. In addition, I am also incharge of the accounts...which makes me a true PA (Personal Assistant)!
